well yesterday as i was driving on the highway, i felt the gas pedal start to vibrate a little bit and then 10 mins later the engline light came on. Then, i went home n didnt drive for like 4 hours. Turned the car on n drove n the gas didnt vibrate anymore but the light n still on. So, the next morning i went n did the paper clip thing, but then the engine light didn't even flash..so what can i do?

In this case you're best taking it to a shop, especially since you don't know much about this stuff.
Even if you know what you're doing this is a code you can't troubleshoot without a scan tool [not a code reader, an actual scan tool that you can monitor the ECU data on]. However, if you want to throw parts at it, it's most likely either the cat or your post [after cat] O2 sensor. The O2 sensor is much cheaper, but the cat is slightly more likely [because you don't have any O2 related codes]. -------------------- ![]() |
