Hi everyone, I just did a smog test for the my registration renewal. I passed all the emissions stuff expect but failed the comprehensive visual inspection due to a craked air intake hose which was just taped together.
![]() Should I just buy a replacement for the hose from the yard or just install a aftermarket filter? Should I go for Injen or Weapon R or which other brands would you guys recommend? Thanks -------------------- God made man....

Thanks ****ty, I don't specifically know CA smog laws, but that won't effect your emissions at all [it's before the TB] and doesn't interfere with any emissions devices. It's a repair, just like patching your exhaust. I would think it's legal, and either the inspector is an idiot or is just being a dick. It really felt I was ripped off! After I get it fixed, I wont take it back to that shop. -------------------- God made man....
