hi there guys,
When my celica is turned on from cold, the accelerator peddle seems to be blocked/stuck. I am not able to gentley press it. I have to push it hard with my foot and then the acceleration peddle becomes smooth. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is it a throttle pump? |

hi there guys,
thanks for your input. Next question ...... how easy is the throttle to clean for a beginer? I have no experience with cars but an good with fixing bits and peices following instructions. I assume this is just a cleaning issue If you can install a head unit and speakers from scratch from a technical view point, do you think someone could clean the throttle? Also I am able to fix bikes (regular bikes not motorbikes). I assume you do not need to unscrew anything/ take parts apart as you would do with a major mechanical issues such as engine work, or clutches etc. |
