What's the difference between the stock clutch we use vs. a stage I clutch kit or stage II? Why would I want to get an upgraded clutch kit?

Various stage kits provide more holding power. You need more holding power when you modify an engine to make more power. Generally speaking, the higher the stage, the more holding power, as well as the more harsh the clutch engages. However, you have to be careful about what brand you go with. There is a company that sells their clutches on ebay and they advertise them as "Stage 3", but they are equal to my Stage 1.
Let me know if you have any other questions, we stock clutch kits and offer good prices so I'd be happy to help you with that. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
