....the E56 tranny? My engine came with it and I am having mounting issues. It came stripped of the mounting brackets so I ordered new ones. The ST202 3SGE (which was available with the E56) and the ST204 5SFE share the same bracket so I should be good.
My problem is that when I place the bracket against the rear of the tranny I can only get one bolt in. Nothing else lines up. In fact, all of the bolt holes in the rear of the tranny are staggered. I don't know what to do? Any ideas? I need to talk to someone that has experience with this tranny in a T chassis. Please speak up if you know someone who can help. |

you need a mount / bracket from a E series transmission, get a mount from a ST205 it'll fit perfectly. or a V6 manual transmission Camry No ****? How do you know this and where can I find information supporting your assertion? I know this because I have read almost every post regarding E series transmissions and have searched the net for almost a year looking for a simliar info. you can find info about this on 6gc.net go to that website and click on search, them look for E 153 or LSD transmission. you'll find something about it. I know your tranny is not a E 153 but in theory the mounts should be the same. -------------------- ![]() |
