In a local junkyard, there is a 5th gen celica, i can't recall what trim level, but definitely not an alltrac. As far as I know, those never came with a 3sge, right? Well, there is one sitting in this vehicle. I was just wondering if anyone knew of this in a USDM 5th gen celica. The ECU and everything is there. If this did come with this car, what kind of HP does it make? Anyone seen this before?

QUOTE (14:19:21) Daniel: That was a JDM hole in the side of the box too. There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. QUOTE Ferdi says (11:29) No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings. |

The 3SGE was never used in North American fifth-gen Celicas, or any Celica after 1989.
The fourth-gen Celica GTS used the 3SGE; it was the only Celica to feature the 3SGE in North America. ST182 and ST202 were never sold in North America. The fifth-gen Celica used the same 5SFE as the sixth-gen North American GT and GTS models (Canada received the GTS). It ran 130-135 HP, depending on revision. The 3SGE in the ST182 was 160 HP or better. |
