tail light swap idea, would this just be wrong?? Options

So I was reading about the supra tail light swap posts and s2k tail light swaps and stuff and it made me think. I don't really want to do something others have already done but I like the supra tails. So I was like ok what are some other sporty cars with nice looking tail lights. I looked at some lexus tails and Mercedes tails but don't really like them so I was like well what about some prelude tails? So I looked at some of those and found some I thought would look cool. The only thing is that its like adding part of the enemy (sp I kno that's not right. . .) but none the less I think it could turn out nice. Is that just wrong??? Or stupid?? I'll try to post a link to exactly what I'm thinking it may be hard cuz I'm doing this from my blackberry. . What are others thoughts on this?

I think I if I were to actually get some jdm's I'd be happy. I don't really like the stock lights ha. I would like to do some custom work, I think it would be cool but idk what in the world would flow w this car and not look odd or out of place. But I will take your jdm thought into careful consideration!

i think you have the right idea. it's all about flow. i don't think those custom fitted lights fit well with the curves of the 6gc (same thought applies to that vader style body kit). in the end everyone has there own taste. but jdm tails are very nice. in the mean time you could smoke your tail lights out to give them a custom look. let me know what you decide to do. best of luck with your decision making.
