Great news for everyone that has had a problem with a stripped sway bar end linkage. I happened to be at Discount Auto Parts earlier and figured I'd go ahed and ask him if he could orde some Sway bar end linkages. He says "nop, but i've got em in stock". Anyways they are only $23.99 a side! I know my Toyota wanted $50 a side and I've heard of other dealeships chaging as much as $75-100 per side. I went ahead and got them so hopefully I will be able to put them on this weekend!
i'll let you konw how it goes. cormudgen |

i think he did a pretty good explanation of what it is and what it does so i won't touch upon that farther. i will tell you though that the linkages are NOTORIOUS for stripping and many people on here have had a problem. you almost have to take them off to adjust anything on your rear suspension so many people have run into the problem of stripping them and then having to put up with them rattling.
as for where this store is, it is a chain. very similiar to autozone or napa. i assumed it was nation but def all over the southeast. you can order online as well at www.partsamerica.com *edit*it appears the old Discount Auto parts is now called Advanced Auto Parts*edit* |
