So i didnt even think about this untill i read whatthe post WTB mudflaps I used to work for a truck accessory company that made mudflaps Action Accessories. I am sure that i could talk my old boss into letting me use his supplies and machines to make some mud flaps for our cars. But I would only be up for this if i could get enough people seriously interested in them as i would probablly be doing all the work...
I have no idea on the price, i will figure that out once i know i have enough people to get behind it then i'll go talk to him and figure something out. The intent would be to make flaps like the ones below, and in whatthe post(the only pics i could find? help). These would be black rubber only, with or without stainless steel weights on the bottom, If you wanted the weights on the bottom they could burn out CELICA in the weights. But that would be the only option the dont print anything on they rubber so dont ask ![]() -------------------- 1 JL 1,000/1v2

I gotta say, you still have the cleanest/best looking Celica for only $700 bucks...jesus. Those mudflaps don't even look half bad.

I gotta say, you still have the cleanest/best looking Celica for only $700 bucks...jesus. Those mudflaps don't even look half bad. why thank you. i am enjoying my $700 investment. still frustrated with the lack of power, but i keep telling myself that within the next year or so i'll pick up a faster car and keep this as my daily driver/ rallyx beater. i did see some 15" enkei wheels at super autobacs the other day on sale with cheap tires for it was either $399 or $499. either way for wheels and tires, not bad. not sure how much i want to invest into this car though. so far i've invested roughly $70 into the car replacing the wiper blades, poly v belts, radiator hoses, and an oil change. the car will soon get a removeable rally light bar and 4 hella 500 fog lights (originally bought for the srt4). i may also be looking at new tires within the next month or so. i feel lucky that a majority of the car works well. oh, and the only other thing i want to change is the radio. the cd player doesn't play burned cd's and shows error a lot. plus there is quite a bit of distortion in the speakers. saw a kenwood head unit at autobacs for $50 that i'll probably pick up after i get paid on wed. |
