ok so its been a few days with my engine light always on when im driving and i need to know of a couple of things to check before i have to get it serviced. well first a friend of mine tightened my gas cap which was loose because i forgot to screw it on tightly enough so i thought maby that was the problem but the light is still on, i checked all the fluids in my engine and they seem to be fine and i beleive most if not all of my electrical components are working as well so anyone got some ideas on how i can get that checked out without having to spend money on letting a profesional look for the problem? i would be happy on any input/ideas to try because i hate looking at that light everytime i am going fast or making tight turns and what not. biggrin.gif

That's a code 41 Throttle Position Sensor signal. It may be the sensor or the wiring you should have it looked at. To reset the light there is a fuse in the fusebox under the hood you need to pull it for 10 mins or so to clear the computer memory. It's either the ecu or efi fuse can't remember which right now. it's in the front of the fusebox.
