OK so heres the deal I just got a 95 ST , I dont have to worrk about emissions were I live Im still decideing what do do with my car. I want to make only around 180hp at the crank, but im looking to have as little custom fab work and also trying to stay away from jdm parts that would be hard to get( possiblilydo a 7age na bulid?). I would most likely be dropping the trans and engine at the same time( I have to to a rebulid on the trans). ANY info or imput would be cool, especially aftermarket or piggy back ecu help.

Can you get 180 out of a 7age though? It's my understanding that you wouldn't be able to hit 180 on a head swap like that. I thought best you'd realistically be looking at for a 7age would be 160-165 when comes to car modification, I've learned not to say, can't be done. techonology changes so much and power output and modification techniques change along with them. one thing I know is " IF " he gets 180 HP out of it, the power to cost ratio will s*ck big time. -------------------- ![]() |

I thought best you'd realistically be looking at for a 7age would be 160-165 when comes to car modification, I've learned not to say, can't be done. techonology changes so much and power output and modification techniques change along with them. one thing I know is " IF " he gets 180 HP out of it, the power to cost ratio will s*ck big time. well i pla on dropping some cash anyways mainly in part i can do all the rest my self the onlyt thing i would be paying for is machining work , i would have the head checked out, valves ect depending on what it would need, a slight polish, new cam(s), ajustable cam gears, for the block, slight bore, high compression pistions, balanced crank, still looking for a place for new conrods new injectors, greddy emange, and the other things hear and there, so like i said i mainly would be paying for parts and machine work, i got pretty much every thing else labor wise covered. like I said i am also playing with the idea of 7agze, but idk about the oil cooler yet, i havent looked into that much yet but im guessing it would be similar to a turbo set up. |
