hey quick question, i was looking for a chart but i couldnt find them

trying to find the generations of 3sgte's and what cars they went into, more specifically the 90-93 mr2 but i'd love to find some sort of master list...i hear all the talk of 2nd gen and 3rd and even 4th gen 3s's and just wanted to know what is what

also side note, what is st215??? i saw this on easter1ipros (or however you spell that too lazy to look) thread and didnt know what it was

Celiman dont believe everything you read unless its from people that are in the know.

ct20b (or ct26 gen3 as its really known) is deffo not smaller, exhaust housing is a bit diff, wheels have slightly diff design, and in the case of adm have a steel turbine wheel.
dont even thing about gettin a gen1 ct26 (single entry) they are a pos and not worth anything, duel entry makes it spool faster without loosing anything in the top end.

3 angle cut means the valve seats on 3 angles, i cant remember the angles off the top of my head but its prob 20, 40 and 60 or so, means the valve edge is smoother better for flow. The better engines have them, gen3 3s, 2jz, rb26 etc. Just by lookin at the valve and seat you should be able to see 3 diff seating angles if its 3 angle cut.

To check if the valves are stainless put a magnet on it, if it sticks to it then its not as stainless in pure forms isnt magnetic.
