I've started desoldering the LEDs from the Heater Control PCB.
I have now received my new LEDs. However, they have a + and - wire. The longer of the 2 wires being positive. Problem is...I'm trying to work out the polarity on the PCB. That is, the positive and negative circuits. ![]() ![]() ![]() I also have the same question relating to the window switch. ![]() Can anyone help please? |

You need to look at the side of the PCB with the silkscreen on. LEDs have a symbol like this:
![]() The triangle points to a vertical bar: >| The vertical bar is the negative side of the LED. Sometimes the two arrows pointing away from the |< are omitted (strictly speaking the latter is the symbol for a diode but sometimes used for LEDs also).
