hi guys i have a 5sfte celica i had to replace my clutch out due to the more power from the turbo so i get the car done a start it up and it wont go into gear when first staring and when it does i let off the brake and the car pulls like the clutch isnt fully disengaging i tried bleeding the slave cylinder thinking air was in the system but still has the problem.
i have installed
f1 racing clutch stage 2
fidanza lightweight flywheel
new throwout bearing
bleed slave cylinder
put 40w gear oil in transmission
adjusted clutch pedal free play

the tranny uses 75-90 gear oil, not 40W.
if the clutch isnt disengaging, and the slave is working, the problem is prolly the clutch itself.

do you think the gear oil would have something to do with it not shifting into gear it works fine when selecting gears when the car isnt running but when i start it it wont go into gear due to the input shaft turning and on the slave cylinder i checked for possible leaks and didnt find any is there
any other checks to perform

you need to make sure the slave is actually working.
have someone step on the clutch pedal, while you verify that the slave cylinder rod is actually moving the clutch fork.

yeah its working i had my dad press the clutch pedal in an out several times and i tested for a leak but fully compressing the clutch and jamming a prybar between the pedal and the seat keeping the slave cylinder out to see if it would leak and after 20 mins it didnt move
