Yeah, man, here's what's up. I got tomorrow planned out for us Nam. (lol I probably should have told you about it). Well tomorrow I need to drop my car off at the smog place to get it smog passed. (yes I said smog passed because I am not taking my car home until it passes hahaha). So then, what I was thinking is that we can do that first thing, and then carpool from there (as always haha). Then ok, we will check out that Celica you found. Also, I wanted to discuss with you something in person. It is in regards to that Ebay deal that you told me about. I found a loop-hole that doesn't make sense, but if I'm thinking correctly about how this promotion works, then it's a way to make unlimited money. Kind of like a gameshark cheat, or Pokemon's Missing No. cheat, with the unlimited rare candies. Anyways, later tomorrow night, Tip asked us to meet at his place and then go to a car meet. It's not really a Celica meet, but it's an import meet.
Hmm on another note, I think I've decided that I don't care about HD clarity as much as I thought I did. I'm just going to cheap out and buy a 720p tv instead of going with a 1080p tv. Because here's the way I see it. 95% of the time, I will be watching cable broadcasting via San Bruno Cable. San Bruno cable does not broadcast in HD. So it's useless to have. 720p is waaaay better than any TV I've ever owned, so it will be good enough for me, as long as it has HDMI inputs for my devices, then I'll be happy. And like you said, there are going to be even better TVs out there in a few years anyways, so I shouldn't spend gobs of money on one now. I'm going to use the money saved to buy Need for speed Undercover, and probably some new clothes to replace my old "good clothes" I lost when I moved up here. I know I probably should have covered this in a PM, but this being Yuchen's thread, I figured that postwhoring was acceptable. OH and Bccentaur3, I just got back from Wendy's and it was very good once again haha. I got the chicken nuggets and chile. The chicken nuggets at Wendy's are the best deal out there for nuggets in my opinion. Mcdonalds nuggets cost about 50 cents a piece! I forget the exact amount, but I think that's what I came up with. Ahhh Wendy's... it brought back good memories of Ohio, and Dave Thomas. Those were the best days of my life haha. Yes, Yuchen, just a taste of what you've missed while you were gone. Hey, but Yuchen, I'm not sure if you still talk to MarcoGTS or anything, but he got into another car accident a few weeks ago. His Celica is out of commision, and I don't think he wants to continue on with his Celica. Also, I don't remember if you met Airfron, but awhile back, he parted out his car. And Prowzee also parted out most of his car as well. Other than that, I'm not exactly sure what happened to SoCal 6gc. Off the top of my head, the most active members are Jeff (did you ever get your stickers?), Craig (but only recently, since I haven't seen him on for awhile until now), Joe (I've seen him make a few posts), Thomas (selling parts as always), and uhh..Xavier is having technical difficulties, but he'll make it through cause he's Xavier and he makes it through everything haha, and I haven't spoken with Alyssa for awhile, she just kind of went MIA. Who else was SoCal 6gc that you knew? I don't think I've seen Christina on this site much. I've heard from her and Alexi off 6gc.net, but haven't seen her on in awhile. Uhh, who else is there? I know there's Nam, but him and I became NorCal 6gc now. I know I'm forgetting some people. All I know is that there hasn't been a SoCal 6gc meet since I left, (well... there was that one meet Marco hosted on the same day as Chino Hills meet, but I don't think I knew any of the members who attended) but I believe Craig is trying to get something together. I would like to see something happen for you guys, just to see if the 6gc SoCal division is still active! I'm sure if anyone can do it, it's Craig, he knows his way around and he definatly makes things interesting. It's a shame that I never got to see him before I moved. Ok /epic off topic post -------------------- |
