that would be sweet but dont you have to fabricate the 2nd supercharger or do they make twin charged 4agzes??? You would add a custom turbo system to the 4AGZE which is already supercharged. I don't recommend it though. Here are some pics of it actually being done: http://www.phoenixtuning.com/toyota/swaps/brandon.html how hard is it to do a 4A swap in our cars? engine mounts? do i need to modify them? and will my 7A tranny mount to it? It swaps right in using either transmission, and use your stock axles. You will need custom wiring, a/c lines, p/s lines, and a little exhaust and intake work. well i have researched and ive seen that all "a" trannys will mate right with all "A" motors but the motor mounts im not too sure ive probly read it but dont remember.. but i need to know wat the easiest way to program the ecu should i get the 4age ecu mated with my wiring harness or should i get a megasquirt?? or get my stock ecu reprogrammed?? Just have the wiring converted: http://www.phoenixtuning.com/ yeah well that works out i think im going to go with the 4age blacktop and turbo it but the thing is i herd hat the 4agze motors came with a 6 speed tranny and i have an automatic how hard would it be to drop a 6 speed maual into my car?? The 6-speed from the 4AGE 20v blacktop should bolt right in like any other 4AGE. from wat i rad it can be either but i do know that u have to get a fwd tranny of coarse but yeah i have seen fwd and rwd 4ages In the Celica it's FWD. It can be swapped into some older RWD cars as well, like the AE86. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
