Summer '09.... Maybe in Cali Options

So.... I just talked to my cousin who is the Vice President of marketing for some big company in California and he wants me to come intern with them for the summer. I forget the companies name, but I know it's a 6 billion dollar company and it's in the vicinity of Laguna Beach and Irvine... Does that ring a bell with anyone? I'll know more details later, but it would look great on my resume to leave the state for an internship, so there's a high likely hood that I'll be in Cali next summer!

They still have those?! Last time I remember, I was supposed to go and meet Omar Santana in Tulare. I met a chick, got her into hardcore techno, she ends up meeting Omar Santana and getting me an autographed record of his for my birthday. Then! Then! She becomes good friends with him, and by then I stopped talking to her, and my other friend and her become buddy buddy, rolling with Omar Santana in his ride to some event he was playing at.

By that time, Hardcore Techno (finally) died for me. Now I find myself listening back to that old stuff........ Remembering those days. Seems like such a long time ago, and I feel too old to go back. Maybe one day, if I get drunk enough......

I know but things sometimes just don't feel the same. If a girl talks to me and she is hot, but I discover she is only 18, I can't do it. It's too easy, and it just feels wrong. They don't even know what they want. I know I am not old, but sometimes I do feel old and you realize that when you are around really really new adults (if I may be allowed to say it like that). I know there are older people there, even older than myself, but still...... I dunno. When is it? Nevermind, google is my friend.
