I found this while surfing the web. It is a 4.3MB PDF for those with slow connections it may take a while.
It was scanned in from some magazine, basically these guys run a pretty thorough test on 18 brands of fully synthetic and synthetic blends of motor oil. The results really surprised me!!!! It's funny that they didn't test Amsoil, which is the best out of all those oils.

The article appears to be in an Australian publication and Amsoil may not be widely available there. They also did say they bought all the oil at the local store and Amsoil is generally not available at retail auto parts stores even here, at least in my area. |
