hey all, as most of ya know, i have been working at the local maaco, and have been painting there for the past year or so, well, that has come to an end, but that dont mean i've stopped painting!
it was fun while it lasted, and i got what i wanted out of the job: i LEARNED. ![]() last night, i preped up and painted jims gt-4 hood and parts for his car, and painted them in my garage. here are a couple pics i snapped this morning after they were dry. ![]() ![]() ![]() these last 2 are reflection shots. this is before wetsanding and buffing, since the parts were just painted last night. ill post more when they are done and on the car. ![]() ![]() later today i will paint the gt-4 bumper and the forgmann lip. more pics to come! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

the parts were white, jims car is electron blue pearl ,(honda B95P)so, i sanded them and preped them, then went to work, sealed the parts black, then hit them with some dupont chromabase basecoat, and the trusty old sherwin clear: later today i will paint the gt-4 bumper and the forgmann lip. Yes he did the same process. --------------------
