I'm wanting to put just the pod filter on my Celica and was wanting to know if anyone here has just put the filter without a CAI and what was required to do it and their opinions - is there a power difference, how is the sound, any disadvantages and do they have a pic that can be posted up ?
Thanks. |

you can do that it just looks shifty, you won't get any noticeable gains but it sounds much nicer and you will have to drill a hole in the stock piping so you can fit the air temperature sensor. Thanks for the info. Where in Australia are you from ? Do you know anyone that has done it this way ? I'm from the central coast, I haven't seen you around the forums before, got any pics of your car? I don't know anyone who has done it on a celica except me, the only difference is that it wont look as good and the standard piping cracks with age, you will most probably do it and love the sound and just make your own piping sometime, that's what I did. |
