Hey!
I am planning to do the famous turbo conversion on the 7A-FE. But, as we know, this is a engine which is made for sucking the air itself. Do I need to reinforce the rods, pistons, gasket etc? And is this available for the 7A-FE engine? Thank you |

Hmm, so there is not dangerous to run on low boost? How much horsepower can I get with low boost, and what is low boost? 0,3-0,5 bar?
Does it exist a better gasket which keep the boost better? (I have recently swapped my old gasket) Found this: Forget pistons and rods http://www.importperformanceparts.net/impo...s-discount.html QUOTE TOY-200-510-1325F Toyota 7AFE set of 4 $792 $749 $43 HP Kits http://www.importperformanceparts.net/impo...pek-toyota.html (look at #27) QUOTE ROSS/Wiseco Forged Pistons (81, 81.5, 82, 82.5mm bore) and (any comp ratio) This post has been edited by AnaXyd: Nov 26, 2008 - 1:11 PM |
