Smoked Tailights, comments or suggestions? Options

I've been wanting to smoke my taillights. My friends told me he knew how to do it but i saw how he did his Integra and my other bud's Cavalier...and it looks really dull. I want to do it but make sure it looks good...like the glossy look:) Is that hard to do...or is my friend just not good at it? lol.

Oh! im also thinking about front light covers. I'm thinking about getting some GTS covers i found on andysautoparts. What shade would look best...and would i have problems with those here in Texas?

i made the paint mate, go to a bodyworks and get them to mix you some black and clear mix.

If you want a "painted" look and a durable finish, I can hook you up with the guy who did the lights on my Vette. It's a gel coat that gets sanded and polished, essentially the same treatment as paint. Looks FANTASTIC, and he can lay it as thin or as dark as you want. here's what it looks like:

The tail lights and side markers used to be red and the reverse lights (each side of plate) were white.

yeah that looks good. how much does he charge?? only prob would be that ..i'm in tx..
