I know we have quite a few gamer-members on here, and I'm about to get a PS3, I wanted to know if there is a charge to get online with it, to play multi player games, ect. Is it like the x-box that requires you to subscribe to a service, or can you just plug in and go?

Hey D-Man, can I borrow your thread real quick?
Which PS3 plays the earlier PS games? The whole reason why I want to stick with PS is because of my Final Fantasy Collection that I spent so much on trying to recover from the past. I keep hearing 60G PS3 but people tell me all but the 40G. I want to know 100% sure before I leap into getting one, that is the main reason why I haven't gotten one yet. Also, is it true they are region free so you can play imports? Thanks Sorry D-man, but I didn't want to make another thread just for that.
