I'm going to start with mostly/all new bolts.
reasons being: a) I don't know what goes where b) I've lost that particular bolt c) Its old nasty/rusted/gooey d) all the above now I have choices on what kinda bolt I can use normal ![]() or socket cap type (the one on the left) ![]() which would you chose. also remember i'm only putting about 1/2 the bolts back in the car that came out of it thanks This post has been edited by playr158: Dec 4, 2008 - 11:08 AM |

i'd like aluminum because they don't rust and they are light (LTW ftw).
~5-9 dollars per box of 25 depending on size |

i'd like aluminum because they don't rust and they are light (LTW ftw). ~5-9 dollars per box of 25 depending on size and extremely easy to strip... even vibration can cause aluminum threads to wear down... i agree, aluminum is the worst choice for a bolt if you ever intend to get it back out. Try a aluminum philips head screw on something. Pain in the butt. things like bolts are too important to be able to get in and out easily to be worried about how much they weigh. That would be a poor decision to put aluminum bolts, but your headache, not mine. (Thank God) -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊
QUOTE (14:19:21) Daniel: That was a JDM hole in the side of the box too. There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. QUOTE Ferdi says (11:29) No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings. |
