Well here is the question

Through the months i have seen all these garage painters here. I really want to put on some accessories that i have bought.

Im torn between doing this and buying a fixer upper celica. The celica may wait, if i can get a cheap good system, or if I get a job am applying for.

here is the question. If i want to:

1. Buy compressor, how many gallons minimum and HP? Sears?

2. Type of gun? Can I use the same gun to paint things around the house? (walls, doors)

3. Paint Supplier? (Home depot, LOL) i dont want to buy online.

I have been researching, but all is confusing. What would my best set up will be, granted i cannot buy expensive stuff.

I really want to learn to paint cars, so point me in the right direction.

I will have more questions, but I would really like to know your set ups at home to do this.

more important than gallons is how many CFM the compressor will support.
get the highest you can afford.
just like with cars, pretty much you get what you pay for.
buy cheap equipment, get cheap equipment results.

save up, buy the best stuff you can, and start with small parts.

go thru your local yellow pages, and find a autobody supply shop, and live there. lol
ask lots of questions, most of them will be willing to help, especially if your going to spend money with them.
