alright i have 18's on my car and was wondering if there was anyway i cang et some bigger disks for the car and rotors because my car does not want to stop with the brakes i got right now so im working them really hard and i need new brakes already

The drum to disk conversion really isn't that hard. You just need some parts of a GT and some modifications to the park brake cable. I think theres a writeup on it somewhere.
No, a big brake kit wouldn't fit under stock wheels It would probably require at least 16" wheels, maybe 17 depending on what I ended up going with. The BMW stuff won't work, they're 5x114.5. I've already thought about it a lot, we've got a lot of used hats and rotors laying around that would be great for the street. Getting the hats made or finding ones that will work is the biggest hurdle, the caliper hanger adaptors really aren't that difficult. |
