Oil pressure and Oil temp are the most important gauges to have on ANY car....the standard "Oil light" is a waste of time as by the time its come on its too late, the damage will have been done.
Although the more gauges you have, the more you worry about what they are monitoring and there is more to distract you from the road ahead which is far more important than any gauge.
Unfortunately the Oil temp/pressure gauges are the most difficult to install as you`ll need to fir a take off plate or find somehwere in the engine to mount the sensors.
Water temp is also a good one to have....voltage and vacuume forget about..not worth monitoring on a non turbo car.
