Okay so heres the deal. My car is a 94 ST with a swapped in 7A (blew the other one up long story). So about a week ago I parked in front of my girlfriends house for about 3 hours, and when I came out to head home I got in my car and tried to start it. There was just one click and nothing else. My cooling fans turned on so some reason and now will not shut off until the key is in the off position.
So far I've replaced- Ignition Switch Starter Starter Relay and Fuse And now I am at my wits end to figure out what this is. The clutch safety switch is good. I've already searched the threads and came up with the same thing "change your starter". I did and it still dosen't work. So if anyione has had this same problem could you let a guy know what you did to fix it? Thanks in advance. there are 2 wires that go to your starter. a LARGE one that takes the charge and distributes it. and the Trigger wire, A smaller wire that goes to the side of the starter rather than the back. I willing to be that the trigger engagement wire is corroded or fell off. Was my problem before with the same symptoms.
