So after reading a few posts about cai and seeing that its bad to have your filter in front of your radiator like i have mine in the first picture. It really does blow a lot of hot air through those fans wow! figured this out today by myself. anyways, i was trying to find out different ways to put my piping so that the filter wouldn't end up in front of the fans again. I think i got it down right, but tell me if this is totally wrong. the filter is now above the radiator fans btw. This is also 3 inch piping it should be fine right??

I'm going to build a cold air intake for the 7A and the 5S pretty soon here, when I do I'm going to use the routing of this upper intercooler pipe in this pic:

That's how I would do it ![]() -Doc This post has been edited by Dr_Tweak: Dec 10, 2008 - 8:20 AM -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
