i finally got that gt2876r i was talking about and also bought a megasquirt. i decided to get into the bottom end and when i saw the rods i new they had to go.

There is more to it then that.
Our distributor has some noise issues with megasquirt. Some people claim the issue can be fixed by adding vr signal conditioners, but I've yet to see someone who is actually running on the stock distributor without problems.
