Can anyone tell me the stock tweeter size in the 8 speaker systems? Also, has anyone replaced them with an aftermarket and if so with what?
thanks in advance. Casey This post has been edited by caszboy: Dec 17, 2008 - 1:07 AM -------------------- |

Thanks for the info. Post some pics of them when you get a chance njccmd2002.
On a slightly different note. I was at a local mobile audio store debating on what to do about the front speakers in my 1996 Toyota celica. I don't want to run a amp right now but i wanted a little more bass then what i had. So after debating for some time and figuring out that what i want is more in the future. We decided to try something out. I bought and Memphis 8" 2-way MARINE speakers! So i tried them out and they sound good! The highs and mids are good and has nice bass response. Alot better then what i expected. The speakers comes with a crossover and the tweeter is swiveling. I'm running them off of my deck which is a eclipse 50x4. They mounted perfect in the stock location with all mounting holes lining up. This should be good until i decide on whether to invest some cash in the audio since its my DD or put the money elsewhere. Here are some pics. I took them at night but i will put up another pic when its light out tomorrow. Enjoy! ![]()
