As I'm removing the tranny to install a new clutch, is it better to remove the engine to replace seals/gaskets? I presently have no hoist or engine stand, but can access one. I'm getting a gasket set from Toyota to button this thing back up but don't know what would be easier. I know that it's alot easier to work on the engine outside of the car, but is it worth the time to pull it for that?

Yes, I'm doing the clutch. Right now I feel lucky to have driven it from the driveway to the shop out back because it slips SOOO much. Probably a new flywheel at the same time because how bad it feels. I'll see when I take her apart. I'm planning on doing it all at the same time. Head, intake, exhaust, valve cover... gaskets, and any seals that I come in contact with. The timing belt and water pump too. The motor's got 200,000 miles right now, so we'll see what more she can do.
