My new, old engine with 75k miles for $600 is not running it was running but then the fuel pump went out , a new found friend installed it but anyway he said the engine was running good but then he tried to start it ....it cranks.....and cranks... no spark i did the old screw the coil with a screw driver 2 check fo spark but there is no spark ...... he had to go do some stuff.... i think i read someone say maybe the condenser in the distributor could cause a lack of spark or the cap or the top... anyone got any ideas?

hey bitter.... the fuel pump was replaced after is started and ran and then it started and ran well with new pump .......... then the next morning no spark..... ground? what the fudge... of course its grounded all the wires are pluged in and a ground doesnt go bad in 8 hours... unless u have some serious corrosion up in there but na i got a new rotor and a new cap but the dam mechanic took the day off since it dropped down to 55 in south texas and hes garage is an outdoor one |
