My new, old engine with 75k miles for $600 is not running it was running but then the fuel pump went out , a new found friend installed it but anyway he said the engine was running good but then he tried to start it ....it cranks.....and cranks... no spark i did the old screw the coil with a screw driver 2 check fo spark but there is no spark ...... he had to go do some stuff.... i think i read someone say maybe the condenser in the distributor could cause a lack of spark or the cap or the top... anyone got any ideas?

WTF was that about? And about your location...well cause im lazy i didnt care to look it up when you had first posted this to see if you were close by. You know im too lazy to cruise by and help someone T/S something. My advice (if you havent got this fixed by now) is to start your T/S process over again. Start with the plugs, wires, dizy, wire running to coil, then the coil and so on. You shouldnt start at the middle and jump around. Another thing thats going to help you out is pick up a manual, d/l the bgb. Even though I know a fair amount I still use these publications. Its just good to have something laying around that you can reference. |
