Let me clear some things up...
The engine has 4 motor mounts. Front, back, left and right. When someone tells you your motor mounts need to be replaced, they mean the front and rear ones. Those are the ones that wear out and will cause your motor to rock too much in the engine bay. When they do wear out, its just the rubber center that goes bad. Now you have 2 options. 1. Get 2 brand new mounts from toyota for the front and back. They are actually not too expensive...around 100 bucks for both. 2. Instead of replacing the mounts, you could "upgrade" to polyurethane inserts. You can put them over your old damaged motor mounts and they will be stiffer then brand new oem mounts. If you want to go with brand new OEM mounts for the front and rear, you can order them here for a good bit cheaper then your local dealer will charge you... http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=840 This post has been edited by lagos: Dec 25, 2008 - 2:08 AM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
