Does anyone have any pics on how to install the TRD Front Extensions / Splitters?

I only have the 2 main bolts to hold them and they sit flush, no tape, nothing more, but u have to use the largest washers u can fit!!!!!!!!
The middle screw is fine the one closer to the tire is too small, and the secret is..............don't be afraid to bend the bottom of your fender..i bent the tire side tab down towards the ground, and the bumper side up towards the engine bay...I've been fine like that for 5 months and they haven't flown off at high speed either.. (I used to use double sided tape before this and it just kept separating and stuff..) I didn't do this but what they mean about the other screw I believe is use a long thin wood screw through the fender plastic as it will help guide the splitter closer to the body...maybe toyota originally used a plastic push rivet like the ones found in the interior?? |
