A 3rd gen engine with stock botom end and stock turbo can run 360 HP easy. Bolting on a big turbo is not the right way to go.
I would suggest an Apexi PFC, 650 or 800 cc injectors, 264/264 IN/EX cams, (sprokets, springs and belt) and a full 3" exhaust. Get to a dyno, get it tuned and be happy ![]() A Blits Access ECU with a boost controller is a nice and cheap upgrade if you are on a budget. Just remember one thing - it's not the turbo that's holding you back it's the breathing ability of the engine which is pretty poor on a stock engine. |
