It's not a strictly speaking Turbo - it's an air induction system.
It's basically an electrical fan that sucks air in through the air filter and forces it down the intake pipe. Some of these "so called" Turbo systems (white housing) that are seen on eBay are infact bilge pumps. These are not up to the task, there platsic and if they break you're fu**ed. I would NEVER buy anything like this off eBay. Having said that... If you are looking for a reliable and reputable air induction system, I believe there are 2 types on the market - damn if I can remeber there names of the top of my head. Anyway, they use a vortex principal (spiralling air). |
