I've been looking around the internet for guides to painting calipers, and they seem to vary a lot and none of them are for celicas specifically. I was wondering if anyone on here who has done it has any method(s) that they feel works well. Thanks!
P.S I dont have a whole lot of experience so far with cars so a simple method would be appreciated ![]() |

Well, First you need to jack the car up, then take the wheel off, and support the car with an axle stand.
Brush off any loose rust with a wire brush, clean any grease off and dry them fully. then you just paint them ![]() It's fine to paint them on the car, no need to disassemble anything. Just don't get any on the brake discs, or any obvious moving parts. Always use a brush-on paint, not spray. Not sure of US brands, but i use Japlac, or hammerite, or a specific calliper paint from an auto store. -------------------- |

The spray paint was the part i was worried about the most, so its good to hear you say that brush-on is better. Thanks for your help |
