So I've been talking to Brent (Sever) a lot lately about his future turbo build. The topic of Injectors came up, and I was told that 3S-GTE injectors can't/shouldn't/won't fit in a 5S-FE. Is this true, or is it just to much a pain to try and make them work. I guess this is just a little confusing for me due to the fact that I also own (aside from my Celica) a 1994 Civic, which still has the D16, and I'm running H22 injectors in that. I kind of assumed that since both engines were an "S" series Toyota engine, that more than just a turbo manifold and minor stuff would be able to bolt up to a 5S from a 3S.
If there is more of a logical reason than "to much fab" to make them work, can someone please enlighten me? -------------------- ![]() www.tweakdperformance.com contact@tweakdperformance.com |
