hi.
i was wondering what stuff to use to paint my tail light. anyone here knoes? cause i would love a red that would fit exactly the red of the other lense. my other question is do i have to take of the lense of the tail light or i paint it directly on the tail light with some maskintape to hide the rest of the tail light. of course i took off the tail light of the car first! thank you |

Like Drocay said, Testors transparent candy apple red works perfect, along with a few coats of clear coat after the red is dry.
You've got to be careful not to put on too many coats, or your turn signals won't be very visible during the day when it's sunny out. That's what my tail-lights are like right now, from painting them red twice, and then tinting the bottom black. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
