Hi,
Currently, my car is torn apart and I'm trying to remove the stock shifter so that I can install the TRD QuickShifter. I've almost got the old assembly out, but I can't figure out how to remove the two shift cables that are marked in the photo below.

If anyone knows how to get these out of the old shifter assembly(and install them in the new shifter), I'd really, really appreciate it if you could help me out. Thanks in advance!

Yep, I ended up taking out the two screws closest to the back seat in the knee panel piece, and then I ended up cutting that plastic bar in the middle in half, because it's not really necessary for anything. The center console holds it in place just fine. Once that was cut, I was able to get the old shift assembly out and get the new one in fairly easily. biggrin.gif
