Was going to do a DIY on the valve gasket. and was needing specs, torque and where to apply rtv on a 5sfe

Reseal the half moons with FIPG when youre doing it. Apply FIPG at the seems of the half moon-to-head and in the corners of the end caps. It is a 30MM. socket and I always tighten the two middle nuts first then the outer ones, then repeat until all the nuts are tight.
Where did you guys find the torque spec. of 17ft/lbs.? -------------------- Trust me, I do this every day |
