How did you get rod knock? High mileage? Well, long story short, my bro-in-law had the motor built, but the idiot who put it back together forgot some things, so it burns about a quart of oil a week probably from valve stem seals. After a while, he gave the car to my sister, who forgot to check oil level every once in a while, so.....then when the car came to me, it was 2.5 quarts low...so yeah.... This spring break or summer, I'm gonna tear this motor apart and see what's still good then do a mild build back on it. -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}
