A few weeks ago i decided i needed to learn how to paint. And looked around and since i could not paint the dog decided to beef up the mower.
Painting is not fun, lots of acetone, grease, and pain in the knuckles. Bondo aint easy. And if you skim your bodywork and prepwork you are in bad shape. Overall Great experience. And I love my new mower. It was fun. Here you go. The storybook. Old Troy build mower. ![]() took engine out ![]() bare metal ![]() rust. ![]() sanding and feathering ![]() bondo and primer ![]() lots of white, Rust oleum ![]() ![]() after many coats, prep and coats wetsand etc. ![]() and mounted.... The TRD Troy Built Mower. What an experience. ![]() -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post.
