 Getting off rust on brake disc |

Im not sure if this is in the right section. But since ive got my rims i want to get rid of the rust that i can now see on my brake discs. Wanted to make sure on how to do it. Is it as simple as taking some sandpaper and rubbing it until it comes off? If so how do i polish it back up too?

why not just buy aftermarket brake pads and discs? the OEM discs are gonna rust no matter what. or at least, it will be hard to keep it from rusting.

Dude my aftermarket rotors rusted really fast in this weather... its my own fault for not getting them treated first, but I don't think theres a difference between aftermarket or OEM, they're all going to rust. no? -------------------- |
