trying to get the oil pan out to reseal, but its being a pain.
the front motor mount is out. crossmember is pushed to the side, there is working room, but this bolt holding this shield is not removable, and there is a big metal arm and the shield held by it which is blocking the pan. ![]() This post has been edited by samir0189: Jan 31, 2009 - 8:26 PM -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊

Samir, I have already torn my engine down to the block from above, but now I am having the same problem as you. I removed the front engine mount and disconnected the front crossmember. How did you get the crossmember to swing away to get to the bottom bolt blocked by it?
