trying to get the oil pan out to reseal, but its being a pain.
the front motor mount is out. crossmember is pushed to the side, there is working room, but this bolt holding this shield is not removable, and there is a big metal arm and the shield held by it which is blocking the pan.

Samir, I have already torn my engine down to the block from above, but now I am having the same problem as you. I removed the front engine mount and disconnected the front crossmember. How did you get the crossmember to swing away to get to the bottom bolt blocked by it?

How did you get the crossmember to swing away to get to the bottom bolt blocked by it? loosen the bolts connecting the rear motor mount to the crossmember, the ones underneath the little rubber caps. don't take them out completely, just loosen enough and the crossmember will swing out of the way to get to the goodies under it.
