Just jacked the car up for a service to find that I have torn the right hand side outter CV boot and the left hand side has cracks and looks like it may tear soon.
Is it worth replacing the cv on the rhs or just the boot? Is it a big job? I shouldn't need to replace the axle will I? Ill get photos up soon. I searched but could find anything that helped me. Im sure someone out there will find what im after but i tried. both of mine are ripped as well...its a f-in mess if you dont get it taken care of right away...flings grease everywhere underneath and along side of the car...if you can get the boots they are not that expensive but im not sure where to get them...i dont think they sell just the boots any more...you might have to replace the whole thing
