so, i went to best buy today, looking around in the auto section, and notice that you can put nitrogen in your tires?

anybody hear about this?
i just thought it was odd.

says that, better for wear on tires, safer prevents leaks..wtf? haha

i had this question too. i then turned to science class and realized that air is like 78% nitrogen (or something like that), 21% oxygen and 1% other gases, so what is really the difference between having 78% nitrogen in your tires compared to 100%... nothing. i had my mechanic give me this lecture as well.
